Serene Journey - here's a post on keeping a gratitude journal-I've been keeping my own gratitude journal for the past few months, not missing even a day since I started (that's really something for me too! and it's not a chore either, I look forward to writing in it every night before I go to bed.) I list at least 5 things, but there are days when I list way more (love those days!). I don't have any rules besides the listing at least 5 things-I don't worry about listing items over again on different days, if that is what I'm truly grateful for that day, I write it! There are days when it seems like I can't think of a thing, but they are getting less frequent as time goes by.
This isn't a new site for me, but I just rediscovered it. There's just so many links I love, I forget to visit them all (it's impossible to visit them all!)
I finally found the video I was looking for, the one showing a face done with the neocolor crayons. I'm not sure if I have enough colors in my little tin to make it work, but I think I'll give it a try. Thought you may like to watch the videos too.
Hope everyone is having a nice evening! I've been painting away, well, painting and collaging (on canvas). I started to get down on myself for not sketching today, but at least I've been doing something creative. I plan to draw on this canvas, eventually. It's went through many, many layers and changes, but it's been fun! Got some new podcasts on my ipod, new to me, and it's all either crafty, arty podcasts, or spiritual type shows (like Oprah's soul series)..... Well, I'm feeling tired now, better get up and get moving before I end up lying on the couch the rest of the evening- Have a peaceful evening and sweet dreams!! xoxo Trish P.S. I may have posted this video, but here it is again- I love watching Violette's videos!
I'm feeling better every day (and also forgetting to take the antibiotics too-always seem to forget about them once I feel better).....I wrote my first little tutorial! :) Just decided to go ahead and try it, I can't keep waiting until one day when I will do a better job....how can I do better if I don't at least make a start? Anyways, it's one of the things I want to do on my blog. I took photos of the process (just a simple art journal page to start with. I still don't have allot of energy and after working all day.....) Now, if I can get Nate to help me get the photos onto the computer, I'll be able to post it.
Violette and Suzi Blu got me started art journaling, thanks to their youtube videos-here's a couple of Violette's night!
