Tried adding color to this and the doodle page I did last week, but the gel pens I used aren't right for this. Any thoughts on what type of colored pens would be good for small details (won't bleed and fine tip)? Thanks in advance for any help!!!
I scanned these, so I couldn't get the whole canvas in 1 shot, but I like how the scans turn out much better:) Hopefully I'll have a couple art journal pages to share with you tomorrow... for now though, goodnight and have a great weekend! xoxo Trish
I finally found out that it's not my computer that was messed up (well, it wasn't why I couldn't upload images anyways) it is firefox. I tried explorer and I could upload my images just fine(what browser do you use? internet explorer? firefox? I'm just wondering if I should switch for good).
It's been awhile since I sketched and shaded faces, I need to get more practice-I had a tough time with the shading, figuring out which watercolor pencils to use.
The scan is blurry, my canvas won't fit on the scanner-but I think I'm done with the above canvas-I'll post a better pic after I take a digital pic of it:)
this is just a peek at the canvas I'm working on now-don't know if you can see the pencil lines, but there's (hopefully) going to be a face there soon ;)

Thought I'd better post these while I could, before the computer acts up again!! Now I'm off to read the book Visioning, that I got from the library, it's pretty good so far. I'm going to start on that vision board soon:) Also got this book from the library, I read it yesterday-I totally reccomend it if you like to keep a written journal (or would like to start)! The page with the girl is one I did (and posted) awhile back, but the goals list, I did that one this evening:) Most of the items on the list are things I've been (trying) regularly, except the walking and eating healthy, but those are 2 big things I NEED to work on every day!
